Would definitely come back as it was a very good stay for our holidays. Rewritten: We had a great time here and would definitely return for another stay.

The Fuerte Conil is a very pleasant place to stay, the breakfast and evening (buffet) meals are superb with plenty of choice. The hotel is very clean and the pools/gardens very well looked after. We enjoyed it because there were no othe English people in the hotel, which made it feel like being 'properly' abroad ! The same can be said for Conil itself, which is a small town, with plenty of nice (mainly fish) restaurants. The town has a small maze of pedestrianised streets which come alive at night. All in all, thoroughly recommended if you prefer a holiday away from the hordes of English in the other Costas

Walking distance to playa fuente del gallo. La Fontanilla is located within 850 feet from the hotel.

Excellent location, we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. the food was pretty good, with a nice variety including fruits, sausages, bacon, and cheese 🍴.

Without doubt, the staff. Always professional, smiling, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the entertainment, particularly in Fuerte Costaluz, and the outside areas and also the hotel was very comfortable.

Aircon didn't function well during the night. Lights on our terrace went out too early at night and did not have the means to switch on and off ourselves.

The service was absolutely outstanding and all the satff were more than helpful. The room was great and the location is stunning. I also used the Spa Facilities and it was a great and relaxing week-end away.

Wonderful hotel with pool views of the sea and lovely staff. Very good breakfast with a good choice of food options. - All in all stunning setting next to the amazing beach as well as restaurants.

The breakfast of our place was very very good and gorgeous for all nationalities, appreciated it.

The location was great for a morning run on the beach, and watching the sunset from the terrace. The small spa was well equipped and the staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. The food was of high quality and it was nice to have some lite entertainment at the hotel.

The single beds! Completely unacceptable for a couple traveling. They can easily provide sheets to turn the 2 into one and make everyone happy. Also, the elevators are very difficult to get used to finding your rooms and parking. Could have better labels on this hillside resort.

Beautifully decorated spot in a great location, surrounded by lots of greenery in the gardens near the Fuente del Gallo Beach 🌿.

I mainly liked the outdoor facilities : the pools, garden - everything very tidy and clean. The rooms would need a bit of an update though...

The rooms need an update already (furniture chipped and scratched). From the booking on the website it wasn't clear that there are two Fuerte hotels on the same property, with slightly different classification...

The staff were fantastic - every single one of them we met - polite, courteous and nothing was too much trouble - everyone wore a smile :-) Location was good, about 10 mins easy walk into town - which is full of bars and restaurants and not a Big Mac or Kiss Me Quick hat in sight ! You really need a basic grasp of Spanish in Conil to understand menus and get by - but a smile and shrug of shoulders goes a long way too. The beash location is fantastic, 18km of flat clean white sand with 3-4 bars scattered along - great for that morning walk to move the cobwebs. The waves of the atlantic are great fun but be wary of letting smaller kids going in on their own - especially with inflatable lilo's/toys - they will get swept away.

This hotel is situated in a beautiful location and offers some nice additional touches for a relaxing stay.

The staff were brilliantly helpful and accomodating, the rooms clean, the breakfast excellent and facilities and access to the beach perfect.

Access from Parking to hotel, fortunately I had someone to help me park my car otherwise it would have been a sweat with 4 kids under 5 and luggage but I am sure the hotel staff would have helped out.

The buffet meals were excellent

Rooms & the hotel is very dated. Never had any soap in the room. had to ask for towels. Checking in and out was a night mare
